Counter-height middle drawer makes family favourites more accessible…
even for kids
MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 18 /CNW/ - Canadian parents know that asking their
little ones to grab something from the fridge is likely asking for
spills, smashes and a myriad of other potential mishaps… but that's
about to change.
There's a new fridge on the home appliance block that offers more space
and better organization options to allow everyone in the family — even
kids — to get their favourite foods risk free.
Samsung Electronics Canada's new designer Four-Door French Door
Refrigerator offers a total food storage capacity of 25.5 cubic feet,
fits into most standard fridge spaces and comes uniquely equipped with
a counter-height middle drawer that is separate from the central
fridge. This drawer can be divided into four adjustable compartments
and set to one of four different temperatures depending on what is
being stored in it. It also allows individual family members to keep
their favourites easily accessible, so that kids can quickly grab a
juice box while dad's beer is always on hand along with a slice of
mom's delicious cheese cake.
"Life today can often be hectic and disorganized, so it's always great
to find a way to reduce clutter and keep things easily within reach,"
says Warner Doell, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Home Appliance
Division, Samsung Electronics Canada. "With our new middle drawer,
everyone can easily access what they need or always have a space
readily available for birthday cakes and party platters."
The refrigerator's Twin Cooling Plus System independently controls the
temperatures of the refrigerator and freezer compartments, and by
maintaining proper humidity levels it keeps foods fresher longer and
prevents odour transfers between compartments.
The middle drawer also allows users to accommodate for additional fridge
or freezer space whenever it's necessary, making planning for dinner
parties or other in-home events so much easier. The modern design of
the fridge places the most frequently used fruit and vegetable drawers
at counter height, preventing unnecessary kneeling or crouching.
In addition, the appliance's LED lighting offers more light through less
energy consumption and a longer bulb life. Users can do away with
rummaging through their freezer to identify buried items; the LED
lighting provides complete illumination so that all items are easily
The RF4267HARS Four-Door French Door fridge is also equipped with
Guggenheim technology which means thinner fridge walls and more storage
space without compromising insulation.
"More and more, Canadians are planning their meals well ahead of time;
often buying in bulk in order to reduce costs," says Doell. "The
additional storage space offered by our Four-Door French Door fridge
responds directly to that need without forcing homeowners to
accommodate for larger dimensions."
The flagship appliance offers industry leading capacity at 33 inches
wide with 14.9 cubic feet of fridge space, 7.1 cubic feet of freezer
space and 3.5 cubic feet of temperature-adjustable space in its middle
To complement these exceptional features, this Energy Star qualified
fridge also offers the high-standard components that consumers have
come to expect from Samsung, including EZ Open Handles; a
taller-than-normal water and ice dispenser for using tall pitchers and
decorative glasses; and, a door alarm to alert users when a door has
not been closed properly.
The Samsung RF4267HARS Four Door French Door Refrigerator is available
at major Canadian retailers at an MSRP of $3,499.99.
