7 FOR ALL MANKIND CONTINUES AGGRESSIVE RETAIL EXPANSION WITH CANADIAN STORE OPENINGS

LOS ANGELES, CA, Feb. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - 7 For All Mankind, the Los Angeles-based premium denim-lifestyle brand, is continuing its aggressive retail expansion strategy with the opening of its first fully owned stores in Canada. The brand is planning to open 10 to 15 stores in A+ mall locations within the next five years.  Currently the brand operates 119 stores worldwide.

7 For All Mankind has been available in Canada since 2003 through high end department stores including Holt Renfrew, Harry Rosen and Simons.  The decision was made to focus on a direct to consumer strategy due to the Canadian consumers' increasing demand for the 7 For All Mankind® product and the strong, resilient buoyancy of the Canadian market.   Canada will utilize the brand's U.S. platform for its retail operations.

On March 10th, 2011, 7 For All Mankind will open its first store at the famed Chinook Centre in Calgary.  Following the opening at Chinook Centre, the brand plans to open between two and three stores per year for the next four to five years.   The new Canadian stores will feature design characteristics similar to other 7 For All Mankind® retail locations but will also uphold a regional feel.  7 For All Mankind will offer shoppers a broad assortment of the brand's collection for men and women including; denim, sportswear, and eyewear.
