Peyto Energy Trust is a natural gas based resource company that concentrates its efforts on tight gas opportunities in Alberta’s “deep basin”. We explore, develop, produce, collect and process our own gas and natural gas liquids. We strive to keep our business model as simple and as efficient as possible. We balance the independence embodied by our namesake, “Wild Bill Peyto”, against our demanding business model to allow us to continue to take advantage of the wealth of opportunities in Alberta’s “deep basin”.

Peyto Energy Trust was organized from Peyto Exploration and Development Corporation. The original corporation was established in November 1998. We converted to Peyto Energy Trust in 2003, but retain the same growth oriented business model.
