Canext Energy Ltd. is a Calgary based exploration focused junior oil and natural gas company. The company was formed in May 2006 as an exploration spin out from the sale of its predessor Canex Energy Inc. In June 2007 the company successfully closed its merger with Trimox Energy Inc and Tasman Exploration Ltd and continues operations as Canext Energy. The company operates over 90% of its projects and is focused in the Peace River Arch area of Northwest Alberta.
