Swim to Survive+™(Plus) Equips Tweens With Survival Skills That Could Help Save Them And Their Friend
TORONTO, June 20, 2012 /CNW/ - With warmer weather upon us and Canadians spending more time in or near water, the Lifesaving Society wants to teach tweens how to save themselves and others from drowning if they find themselves in trouble around water. On Thursday, June 21, 2012, the Lifesaving Society will announce its new Swim to Survive+™ program aimed at children in Grade 7 (11 to 12 years of age). This new program follows on the heels of, and complements, the Lifesaving Society's highly successful Swim to Survive program that has been provided to over 400,000 Grade 3 children since its inception in 2005.
