Canada will be out in force at the Shanghai International Film Festival (June 16 to 24) for a third year running with an outstanding line-up of 20 films, including one feature - Micheline Lanctôt's Pour l'amour de Dieu (For the Love of God)—in official competition. As well, 19 Canadian films will be screened in the Festival's International Panorama section.
Starring in two of the selected films (Pour l'amour de Dieu and Leonard Farlinger's I'm Yours), Canadian actor Rossif Sutherland will be in Shanghai in support of these productions. Mr. Sutherland will be available to speak to the media about his experience at the Festival and his involvement in the two titles.

Rossif Sutherland. The middle of Donald Sutherland's three sons, Rossif Sutherland was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Following in the acting footsteps of his father, mother and famous half-brother Kiefer, Rossif Sutherland made his film debut in the 2003 Paramount major motion picture, Timeline, starring Paul Walker and Gerard Butler. On TV, he played the recurring role of Lester Kertzenstein on the 10th season of the hit series ER.
Sutherland has since appeared in the movie Poor Boy's Game with Danny Glover and Flex Alexander. Sutherland also appeared in the 2009 comedy/drama, with Timothy Olyphant, High Life (for which he was nominated for a Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role), and also appeared, with Russell Peters, Greg Germann and his father, in the 2010 comedy The Con Artist directed by Risa Bramon Garcia. In 2012 he joined the cast of the television show King.
