Media Advisory - Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension first twin tunnels section completed
TORONTO, June 8, 2012 /CNW/ - The Honourable Julian Fantino, Associate Minister of National Defence; along with His Worship Rob Ford, Mayor of Toronto; York Region Chairman and CEO Bill Fisch; and Toronto Transit Commission Chair Karen Stintz will participate in an event to mark the completion of the first 1.6 kilometres of twin tunnels for the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE).

| Location: | Sheppard Avenue West station launch site (Sheppard Avenue West at Tuscan Gate) in the parking lot behind the Downsview Merchants Market. |
| Directions: | The Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue West intersection can be accessed from Highway 401 by taking the Keele exit northbound, and from Highway 400 by taking the Finch Avenue exit eastbound, then turning onto Keele southbound. |
| From the Keele and Sheppard intersection, travel eastbound on Sheppard, turning right at the second set of lights (Tuscan Gate) into the driveway of the Downsview Park Merchants Market. | |
