One Ticket, Three Ways to Get to Cloud 6/49: Lotto 6/49 Offers Players Two Bonus Draws for Every Regular Draw in March
TORONTO, March 1, 2012 /CNW/ - Just one ticket will offer lottery players three ways to get to cloud 6/49 this March. For every regular draw during the month, players of Canada's favourite lottery game, LOTTO 6/49, will have two BONUS chances to win a prize of $649,000, in addition to playing for a jackpot prize in the millions.
"As we're always looking for ways to improve our games and enhance the player experience, we're introducing a special LOTTO 6/49 bonus this March. Players will not only have the chance to win the jackpot prize, but also one of two bonus prizes of $649,000 for each draw night in March!" said Wendy Montgomery, Vice President of Lottery Marketing & Sales at Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
For each of the nine regular LOTTO 6/49 draws in March, two separate sets of six bonus numbers will be drawn. Winners of a bonus draw will receive a one-time cash lump-sum payment of $649,000. Players must match all six bonus prize numbers to win the bonus prize(s).
Since LOTTO 6/49 was launched in June 1982, Ontario players have won more than $9.6 billion in prizes, including 1,224 jackpot wins. As of January 31, 2012, there have been 2,924 LOTTO 6/49 draws.
