Astral Media Inc. Announces Payment of Semi-Annual Dividend

MONTREAL, Dec. 16, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - The Board of Directors of Astral Media Inc., (TSX: ACM.A ACM.B) at a meeting held on December 13, 2011, declared a semi-annual dividend of $0.50 per share on the Class A Non-voting Shares and the Class B Subordinate Voting Shares of the Corporation payable February 24, 2012 to the shareholders of record at the close of business on February 10, 2012.

Astral Media Inc. designates this dividend to be an eligible dividend pursuant to subsection 89(14) of the Income Tax Act and its equivalent in the provincial jurisdictions of Canada.
