Faisal Habib named COO of the QWeMA Group

TORONTO, Nov. 1, 2011 /CNW/ - Moshe A. Milevsky, President and CEO of the QWeMA Group, and the Board of Directors announced today that Faisal Habib, MBA, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the QWeMA Group, effective immediately. As COO, Faisal Habib will be responsible for the daily business activities and decisions of the QWeMA Group.

Faisal Habib joined the QWeMA Group in January 2008 as head of financial engineering and software development.  Previously, he worked as a software design engineer within the Test & Measurement industry.  Faisal holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, a Masters of Business Administration from St. Edwards University and a Financial Engineering Diploma from York University's Schulich School of Business.  He also holds the designation of Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Faisal Habib will retain responsibility and title of Director of Financial Engineering and in that capacity will continue to supervise the development of all computational algorithms, financial models and software implementation.
