CANMARC: "CMQ.UN" is the new trading symbol on the TSX
MONTREAL, Oct. 13, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - CANMARC Real Estate Investment Trust ("CANMARC" or the "REIT") Units are now trading under the symbol "CMQ.UN" on the Toronto Stock Exchange, effective at the opening of business today. CANMARC is the new name of the REIT, formerly known as Homburg Canada Real Estate Investment Trust.
"The new name - CANMARC - speaks to how our REIT has evolved since we completed our initial public offering in May 2010. It is a further confident step forward," said Jim Beckerleg, President and Chief Executive Officer.
