Hudak voted against reducing waste... why?

TORONTO, Sept. 22, 2011 /CNW/ - Today Tim Hudak issued a challenge for Ontario Liberals to identify one idea for cutting waste.

Here's one: Lower the cost of prescription generic drugs.

Ontario Liberals took on the big pharmacies to lower the cost of prescription generic drugs.  It's saving $500 million every year that's being invested in front-line health care.

Tim Hudak voted against it.  He thought the money should go to boost profit margins.

Tim Hudak also happens to own shares in Shoppers Drug Mart.  His Members' Public Disclosure lists shares in Shoppers Drug Mart as one of his assets.  But he never once disclosed this conflict to the Legislature.

Ontario Liberals will continue to put the interest of seniors, families and taxpayers first.

Tim Hudak... well, he's only in it for himself.
