University of New Brunswick Adopts Microsoft Live@edu for Students
UNB students will have access to a rich suite of online tools that further support their academic and technology needs.
FREDERICTON, July 19, 2011 /CNW/ - Microsoft Canada and the University of New Brunswick (UNB) are pleased to announce that they are working together to bring Microsoft Live@edu, an innovative suite of online communication and collaboration tools, to UNB's 11,000 students. With Live@edu, UNB students will have the advantage of a leading technology environment to support their successes inside and outside the classroom.

Microsoft Live@edu provides the flexibility of Office Web Apps that include web-optimized versions of Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint. UNB students will now be able to access these essential tools anywhere, anytime, on their PCs or mobile devices. Live@edu also includes Outlook for email plus a 10 GB inbox, and enables powerful document sharing and collaboration with 25GB of password-protected online storage. UNB joins a rapidly growing community of 10,000 schools worldwide whose students are benefiting from the power of Live@edu.
