Creative Youth Empowerment at Concordia University

MONTREAL, Feb. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - The Garnet Key Society of Concordia
University, in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Montreal
and LOVE (Leave Out Violence), is thrilled to announce Youth Fusion Jeunesse,
a one-day bilingual conference on creative youth empowerment in Montreal,
which will be held Saturday, February 10th, from 10 am to 4 pm in the Henry F.
Hall Building of Concordia University (1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. West).
Youth Fusion Jeunesse will enable 13 non-profit organizations to share
with the public the various creative means used to reach out to Montreal
youth. Luke Fritz and Anthony Calvillo from the Montreal Alouettes will make
guest appearances to show their support. Gifts, surprises and $100
gift-certificates will also be given away to various participants throughout
the event.

The 12 members of the Garnet Key Society act as ambassadors of the
University. The Big Brothers Big Sisters movement is a mentoring program that
promotes social and academic success, and LOVE is a youth violence prevention
organization that uses photojournalism.
