Canadian Ethnic Media Association announces award winners for 2010 32nd annual awards to be presented November 6th at Airport Holiday Inn as part of "Ethnicity, Governance and Social Justice: Linking Canada to the World"

TORONTO, Nov. 4 /CNW/ - This year the Canadian Ethnic Media Association (CEMA) Awards will mark the 32nd annual presentation of its awards, which will take place on Saturday, November 6th.  The Awards presentation  is the closing gala event to "Ethnicity, Governance and Social Justice: Linking Canada to the World" a two-day educational conference held at the Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport Hotel. 

From noon to 1:00 p.m. on November 6th, Madeline Ziniak, Chair of CEMA and National Vice President of OMNI Television; Dat Nguyen, President, CEMA; Gina Valle, documentary producer & writer and Bill Yancoff, Producer, Macedonian Heritage, will participate in the panel discussion, " The Role of Ethnic Media in Canada."  Later that same day, the Canadian Ethnic Media Association will present its awards for excellence in print, radio, television and the internet - as well as the special Sierhey Khmara Ziniak Award.

The CEMA Awards Gala will take place in the Trillium Ballroom of the Holiday Inn, beginning with a pre-awards reception at 6:00 p.m. and followed at 7:00 p.m. by the balance of the evening's program, which will include diverse entertainment in addition to presentation of the awards.  At  9:00 p.m. a post-awards reception will close out the evening, and wrap up the conference; CEMA Award Winners for 2010 are:
