Media Advisory - Change of command ceremony at Land Force Quebec Area and Joint Task Force (East)

MONTREAL, July 28 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the media are invited to attend a change of command ceremony on July 30, 2010. The ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm in CSEM III at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Valcartier. Brigadier-General Alain Tremblay will take command of Land Force Quebec Area and Joint Task Force (East) (LFQA/JTF (East)).

Major-General Guy Laroche will be handing over command of LFQA/JTF (East) to take the helm of the Land Force Doctrine and Training System in Kingston, Ontario. The Chief of the Land Staff, Lieutenant-General Peter Devlin, will preside over the ceremony.

When: Friday, July 30, 2010, at 2:00 pm.

Where: CSEM III, CFB Valcartier, QC.
