Media Advisory - Unveiling of Vancouver 2010 Olympic Truce Installation at Olympic and Paralympic Village Vancouver on Tuesday, February 9

VANCOUVER, Feb. 8 /CNW/ - The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Truce Installation will be unveiled at a ceremony on Tuesday, February 9 at Olympic and Paralympic Village Vancouver.

The installation is a uniquely Canadian interpretation of a truce "wall" and focuses on telling the story of peace, respect and fair play in a contemporary way. Located in the athletes' villages in Vancouver and Whistler, the installations will bear the names of athletes competing in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Please note: This event is only open to accredited media. Accredited media should use the media transportation shuttle to the village from the Main Media Centre (MMC) in downtown Vancouver to enter through the venue media centre.
