Ottawa West - Nepean and Leeds - Grenville electors go to the polls: Provincial By-elections Called for March 4

TORONTO, Feb. 3 /CNW/ - Electors in the Electoral Districts of Ottawa West - Nepean and in Leeds - Grenville will go to the polls on Thursday, March 4, confirmed Ontario's Chief Electoral Officer Greg Essensa.

Important dates during the election period include:

Nomination of Candidates             February 11 to February 18 at 2 p.m.

    Notice of Registration cards mailed  February 16

    Returning Office Advance Poll        February 20 to February 25, from
                                          10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

    Area Advance Polls                   February 23 to February 25, from
                                          10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

    Election Day                         March 4, polls open from
                                          9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
