ON TUESDAY, APRIL 7. (xxx)MISSISSAUGA, ON, April 6 /CNW/ - World Vision has partnered with
Firefighters Without Borders for a unique program that will bring professional
Canadian firefighters to Honduras for two weeks, twice each year to train
villagers in fire prevention and emergency response procedures. As part of
their maiden voyage on May 17, World Vision will be distributing $50,000 worth
of equipment, including fire hoses, brand new fire suits, CPR training
manikins, first aid bags, and more, donated by Firefighters Without Borders.-------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Tuesday, April 7, firefighters will load up five tons of donated
equipment bound for Honduras at the Canada Worldwide Shipping Warehouse.

Over the next few weeks, Firefighters Without Borders will be hosting
fundraising events around the GTA including a benefit concert, to help cover
the costs for firefighters to travel to Honduras.
WHAT: Three members of Firefighters Without Borders helping to
load up a transport truck with $50,000 worth of donated
emergency equipment to be delivered to villages in
Honduras. Firefighters will be travelling there in May to
train villagers how to safely use and maintain the
equipment.
