Media Advisory - Government of Canada celebrates Dr. Norman Bethune's artistic and humanitarian contributions

TORONTO, Nov. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - The Honourable Michael Chong, Member of Parliament for Wellington - Halton Hills, will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the death of Dr. Norman Bethune during an international exhibition of children's self-portraits from Canada, Spain and China.

The Honourable Michael Chong will participate on behalf of the Honourable Jim Prentice, Canada's Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada.

Delegates from the Chinese and Spanish consulates in Toronto will also be in attendance.
