TORONTO, Jan. 13 /CNW/ - Representatives from Parents for Children's
Mental Health (PCMH) will be at Queen's Park today to tell their stories of
the crisis in children's mental health and release their expectations for the
Ontario Provincial Budget 2009.
There have been three reports released in the last two months that point
to the need to invest in Ontario's children's mental health system - The Roots
of Violence (McMurtry/Curling), the Auditor General's annual report and
Ontario's Poverty Reduction Strategy. These reports echo the message of
parents that live with the shame and struggle of supporting their children
living with illness. The media conference will be held
