TORONTO, June 29 /CNW/ -- Fluid Music Canada, Inc. (TSX:FMN) (the
"Corporation" or "Fluid"), is pleased to announce that it held its Annual and
Special Meeting on June 29, 2009 in Toronto, Ontario.
At the Meeting, shareholders elected the following individuals as
directors of the Corporation: Lorne K. Abony, Director and CEO, Justin F.
Beckett, Director, Richard Weil, Independent Director, James Lanthier,
Director and Chief Financial Officer, Harvey Solursh, Independent Director and
Anatoly Plotkin, Independent Director.
Shareholders also confirmed the appointment of RSM Ritcher LLP as
auditors of the Corporation and authorized the directors to fix their
remuneration.
Due to current market conditions the Corporation elected to not seek the
proposed amendment to the Corporation's stock option plan described in the
management information circular delivered to shareholders in connection with
the meeting.
Mr. Rivkin will cease to hold the office of President of the Corporation
effective today; however, Fluid is pleased to announce that it has entered
into a consulting agreement with Mr. Rivkin pursuant to which he will continue
to provide consulting services to the Corporation.
