MONTREAL, Feb. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - Golden Goose Resources Inc. (TSX-V: GGR)
(the "Company") is very pleased to announce the appointment of François Perron
to its Board of Directors. Mr. Perron will also join the audit committee. Mr.
Perron will replace Kevin Sherkin, who has resigned as a director. However,
Mr. Sherkin has entered into a consultant agreement to provide advisory
services to the Company.
François Perron is involved in the financial markets as a portfolio
manager, most recently managing a resource-focused portfolio for NBC
Alternative Investments. Prior to joining NBC in 2007, he spent seven years
running various resource funds for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.
In 2006, he was recognized by the Brendan Woods International survey as a "Top
Gun" asset manager in mining. He also has experience as a research analyst
covering the forest products sector for Merrill Lynch. Mr. Perron graduated
with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from McMaster University in 1986 and earned
an MBA from HEC Montréal in 1992.

The appointment of Mr. Perron is subject to confirmation by the TSX
Venture Exchange.
The Company also announces that its Board of Directors has granted to Mr.
Perron stock options to purchase an aggregate of 50,000 common shares of the
Company at an exercise price of $0.25 per common share. The options were
granted under the Company's stock option plan, and expire on February 11,
2014.
