MONTREAL, Jan. 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Radio-Canada has already publicly
expressed its regret that parts of the Bye Bye 2008 broadcast disturbed some
viewers and pledged to take this into account in its future discussions and
decisions regarding programs of a similar nature.
Despite this, the Black Coalition of Quebec is demanding today that
Radio-Canada issue a full apology. In case there is any lingering doubt
following the open letter on the matter that appeared in papers on January 7,
Radio-Canada would like to formally apologize to anyone who felt offended by
the program.
