TORONTO, Jan. 16 /CNW/ - Due to a power outage that has affected the area
since 10:15 p.m. last night, all Toronto Catholic Schools in the geographic
area of St. Clair to Queen Streets and Spadina to Jane Streets are closed
today.
Principals/Vice-Principals are being asked to be at their schools to
receive any students that may not have received this message.As a result of the power outage all schools in the following geographic
area will be closed:
NORTH Boundary: St. Clair
SOUTH Boundary: Queen Street
EAST Boundary: Spadina
WEST Boundary: Jane StreetSchool bus transportation this area has also been cancelled.
Hydro one has indicated that the power outage will continue for
approximately a total of 18 - 24 hours from the time it started.The schools closed today are:
