    TSXV - LHT

SPEARFISH, SD, July 31 /CNW/ - Lehman Trikes, Inc. announces that Dan
Patterson will be retiring from his position as President of the company on
August 1, 2009 and as Chief Executive Officer effective September 30, 2009.
Mr. Patterson, who has served as a member of the Lehman Board of Directors
since 2004 and became President and CEO of Lehman Trikes in 2007, stated he is
stepping down to spend time with his family, travel, and relax.
"It is with regret that we accept the retirement of Dan," said Les Brown,
Chairman of Lehman Trikes Board of Directors. "He has done a great job of
steering our company in the right direction and has made many excellent
business decisions. We look forward to Dan's continued participation on the
Board of Directors."
In announcing his retirement, Mr. Patterson expressed his fondness for
Lehman Trikes, its employees, and business partners. "Several years ago I
thought I was heading toward retirement. The officials at Lehman convinced me
to come on board and help guide the company with their future plans for
growth," Mr. Patterson said. "It has been a wonderful experience and
opportunity for me and I am grateful to have had the chance to accomplish many
of the goals we set out to achieve."
Larry Strilchuk, one of Lehman's founders, reflected on some of the
changes Patterson has overseen during his presidency at Lehman Trikes. "Dan
has led our company through many important changes in the past five years,"
Strilchuk said. "We've seen the complete transfer of our company's operations
to the United States from Canada, a strategic decision that has resulted in
double-digit growth for the last five years." Added John Lehman, the original
founder of Lehman Trikes, "Dan was able to forge relationships between Lehman
Trikes and Harley-Davidson as their official supplier of the Tri-Glide, a
relationship that has led to the expansion of our company and staff. He was
also fundamental in our relationship with Victory Motorcycles. He is extremely
mission driven and his substantial business experience as well as his passion
for motorcycling has been a key to the success of this company." John and
Larry joined together in expressing their thanks for Dan's leadership and
accomplishments.
Simultaneous with Mr. Patterson's retirement, Lehman announces that
Kennon (Ken) D. Hines has been named President effective immediately, and will
assume the Chief Executive Officer position October 1, 2009. Ken will focus on
the company's strategic growth and financial plans in concurrence with
Lehman's Board of Directors. Since November 2006, Ken has served in various
management positions with Lehman Trikes including, most recently, Executive
Vice President.
"Ken has served this company well over the past several years. We are
very proud to have his expertise and experience helping to lead us into the
future," stated Les Brown, Chairman of the Board.
Over the past 30 years, Ken has held a series of leadership positions.
Prior to joining Lehman Trikes, he was a business consultant for numerous
Fortune 100 companies. Ken served as Vice President of Business Development
and later as Vice President of Program Management at Lockheed Martin. While
serving as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, he was a member of the elite
Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels. Ken holds a B.A. from
Adams State College and has attended 20 executive, corporate, and military
schools.
