Prism Medical Ltd. (PM:TSX-VEN) Dividend Declaration and Financial Advisor

VAUGHAN, ON, Oct. 19 /CNW/ - Prism Medical Ltd. ("Prism") (PM:TSX-VEN) announced today that the directors have approved payment of a dividend of $0.075 per common share on November 5, 2009 to the shareholders of record on October 28, 2009.

Prism also announced today that the board of directors approved the appointment of Raymond James & Associates, Inc. to act as a financial advisor to the company. In such capacity, Raymond James & Associates, Inc. will independently assess the value of the company and review strategic alternatives with a view to increasing shareholder liquidity and maximizing shareholder value.
