BANFF, AB, June 10 /CNW/ - Winners of the 29th Banff World Television
Awards, presented in partnership with E! Everything Entertainment, were
announced last night at the 29th edition of the Banff World Television
Festival, which takes place at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Alberta,
Canada, June 8 - 11, 2008. Kim Cattrall was on hand to receive the
NBC Universal Award of Distinction, and producer Jon Plowman accepted the
Lifetime Achievement Award. The Grand Prize was given to "White Light/Black
Rain: The destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki".
