TORONTO, Jan. 16 /CNW/ - NASCAR race cars normally roar past spectators
in a blur, but motor sports enthusiasts in Québec will be able to get an
up-close look at one of these all-powerful machines, when Toyota Canada Inc.
(TCI) rolls the Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry - number 99 - into the
Montréal International Auto Show this week.
"Montréalers are enthusiastic supporters of motor sports, so we have
brought them a special treat," said Jean-Pierre Gagnon, the Zone Manager
responsible for Toyota in Québec. "Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry, driven
by David Reutimann, is a 750-horsepower contender in NASCAR's Busch series -
which includes a stop in Montréal. Therefore, it was a natural choice to make
a NASCAR machine a feature of the Toyota display."
In addition to number 99, we have some more winning entries. TCI's
display at the Montréal International Auto Show includes 3 all-new vehicles
making their Canadian auto show debuts: The 2009 Toyota Corolla compact sedan,
the 2009 Toyota Matrix crossover and the 2008 Toyota Sequoia full-size SUV.
Also on display in the Canadian Auto Show circuit for the first time is
the all-new 2008 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid.
The Montréal International Auto Show takes place January 18-27 at the
Palais des congrès de Montréal.
