TORONTO, Jan. 29 /CNW/ - "1, 2, 3, 4"...The count is on! CTV and the
Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced today that
Feist, Finger Eleven and Michael Bublé are the first artists slated to perform
on The 2008 JUNO Awards broadcast on Sunday, April 6 from Calgary's Pengrowth
Saddledome. CARAS also announced today full details surrounding ticket sales
for Canada's Music Awards.
All three Canadian acts have been recognized with previous JUNO Award
nominations and wins, and are enjoying huge successes both at home and
internationally. (See "About Feist," "About Finger Eleven" and "About Michael
Bublé," below). More performers will be announced next Monday, February 4 on
the eve of the JUNO Awards nominees' media conference on Tuesday, February 5
at The Fairmont Royal York hotel in Toronto.

Feist's already legendary album, The Reminder, continues to astound
listeners, having sold over one million copies worldwide. The hit single
"1234" is one of the most popular downloaded songs and videos since being
featured in a commercial for the iPod nano.
Feist recently garnered four 2008 Grammy nominations, but long before her
international breakthrough success, she was the Canadian indie-rock poster
girl with solo albums including Open Season (2006) and Let it Die (2004),
which garnered her two JUNO Awards for New Artist of the Year and Alternative
Album of the Year. She was also a member of Broken Social Scene, contributing
to four of the group's albums from 2000-2005.
About Finger Eleven
Finger Eleven rocketed back into the music limelight with the
introduction of their latest musical creation, Them vs. You vs. Me, released
