LCBO recalls D'Aquino Pinot Grigio white wine from Italy

TORONTO, Dec. 9 /CNW/ - The LCBO today recalled a Christmas gift item,
the 1500 mL-size blue bottle of 2007 D'Aquino Pinot Grigio delle Venezie, and
suspended sales of this product after water was found in some bottles.
"This is clearly a product quality issue that poses no health risk to
consumers," said Dr. George Soleas, Vice President, LCBO Quality Assurance and
Specialty Services. "The recall is part of LCBO's ongoing quality assurance
monitoring."
The problem appears to be related to the bottling process and only a
small amount of inventory was affected.
Customers returning bottles to the LCBO will receive a full refund.
