Best Buy Canada celebrates the grand opening of its Ancaster store


    Store will feature new Best Buy Mobile in-store concept

    TORONTO, Oct. 16 /CNW/ - Best Buy, Canada's fastest growing retailer and
e-tailer of consumer electronics, computers and entertainment products, will
celebrate the grand opening of its Ancaster store beginning Friday, October 17
with a weekend of festivities and celebrity appearances. The new Ancaster
store is located in the Meadowlands Power Centre, at 14 Martindale Crescent.
    The store will feature the new Best Buy Mobile store-within-a-store
concept. Best Buy Mobile was recently launched to sell an unprecedented
selection of mobile phones, plans and accessories. This unique mobile phone
shopping experience offers dedicated team members, and a no pressure,
non-commissioned sales environment.Grand Opening Weekend Schedule of Events:

    Friday, October 17
    -   Before 9:30 a.m.: Line up for a chance to win a $500 Best Buy gift
        card
    -   9:30 a.m.: Ribbon-cutting and $5,000 cheque presentation to Big
        Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton and Burlington
    -   5:00 p.m.: An autograph session with Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback,
        Casey Printers
    -   The first 250 people in line will meet and receive an autograph from
        Casey Printers

    Saturday, October 18
