Edmonton's Jason Osborne Takes Home Gibson's Cup and the Gibson's Iron Bar Championship Title

    MONTREAL, Nov. 20 /CNW/ - The official 2008 Gibson's Cup drink was
selected last night as the nation's top bartenders and mixologists went head
to head in the final Gibson's Iron Bar competition.
    The seven regional winners were flown into Montreal, where they competed
in a close race to impress the judging panel. Jason Osborne from Edmonton's
Union Hall was selected as the Iron Bar Champion. His drink, named after the
Edmonton Eskimos' stadium, The Commonwealth, was crowned the Gibson's Cup. To
recreate the Commonwealth, mix:1oz Gibson's Finest
                             1 1/2 oz Apple Juice
                        2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
                             1/4 oz of Lime Juice

                   Pour over ice and serve in a short glassJason Osborne will take home the grand prize of $1000. His drink has
officially been crowned the "Gibson's Cup" and will be served at this year's
Grey Cup(R) festivities.
