Reminder: CAW Meets to Strategize on Financial/Auto Crisis in Toronto


    TORONTO, Nov. 27 /CNW/ - The CAW will be bringing together key union
leadership in the major assembly, auto parts and truck assembly sectors from
the Toronto, Oakville, Brampton, Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Mississauga
and surrounding area on November 28 for a meeting about the impact of the
financial crisis on the auto and truck industry in Canada. The issue of what
this crisis means to pensions will also be addressed.
    Media are welcome to attend.
    The meeting will include a speech by CAW President Ken Lewenza and
presentations by CAW Economist Jim Stanford and CAW Pensions and Benefits
Director Sym Gill.When:  Friday, November 28 at 9:30 a.m.
