    VANCOUVER, May 20 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010
Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will hold a media briefing
following the conclusion of its Board of Directors' meeting on Wednesday,
May 21 at the VANOC offices in Vancouver.
    Media interested in receiving an update regarding topics discussed at the
Board Meeting are invited and welcome to participate in person.
    As part of its commitment to public transparency and accountability,
information relating to VANOC board meetings is posted at
www.vancouver2010.com, including the Board's calendar of scheduled meetings,
meeting agendas and details on decisions taken, subject to conditions of
confidentiality related to personal information and/or competitively sensitive
or privileged information. Following each Board Meeting, VANOC hosts a media
briefing with the Board Chair, Chief Executive Officer and other director(s)
or members of the VANOC senior management team to elaborate further on
