TORONTO, Sept. 18 /CNW/ - Education ministers will meet in Fredericton,
New Brunswick, on Monday and Tuesday, September 22 and 23, 2008, where they
will discuss shared priorities in education such as literacy, Aboriginal
education, and postsecondary capacity. Their meeting will be led by the
Honourable Kelly Lamrock, Chair of the Council of Ministers of Education,
Canada (CMEC) and Minister of Education for New Brunswick.

As host for the CMEC meeting, New Brunswick has
invited ministers of education to a number of its
educational institutions. Ministers will be
visiting Ecole Sainte-Anne, Leo Hayes High School,
New Maryland Elementary School, and the University
of New Brunswick, Fredericton.
The Honourable Kelly Lamrock will be available to
speak with the media at Leo Hayes High School at
3:30 p.m.
