Day No. 2: September 20, 2007 Waterfront Trail and Greenway Day
Trail Ride - Approximately 50 waterfront partners will cycle the
56 km section of the Waterfront Trail from Mississauga to
Pickering, stopping at Toronto's Harbourfront for a celebration

Where: Day No. 1 - Palais Royale, Toronto
Day No. 2 - Trail Ride:
Mississauga: Lakefront Promenade Public Marina in Mississauga,
135-800 Lakefront Promenade off of Lakeshore Road East, east of
Cawthra Road
Toronto: Harbourfront (21km ridden) Location: Splash Patio,
No. 235 Queens Quay West
Pickering: Petticoat Creek Conservation Area, 1100 Whites Road,
Pickering, (route 38), South of the 401. (Parking lot on the west
side is closest to the picnic area where the event is taking
place.)

- 7:00 AM - meet and sign-in at Lakefront Promenade in Mississauga,
135-800 Lakefront Promenade off of Lakeshore Road East, east of
Cawthra Road
- 7:20 to 7:50 - press conference and event

- Marlaine Koehler - Executive Director, Waterfront Regeneration
Trust
- Steve Parish - Mayor of Ajax
- David Crombie, Founding Chair of the Waterfront Regeneration Trust
- 8:00 - ride begins
Toronto:

- 9:00 to 10:00 - people arrive at Harbourfront (21km ridden) Location:
Splash Patio, No. 235 Queens Quay West, between Reese St. and York
St., south of the Sirius Stage, on the east side of the Natrel Pond
- 10:20 to 10:50 - press event. Speakers are:
- Marlaine Koehler, Executive Director. Waterfront Regeneration Trust
- City of Toronto Representative
- Steve Parish - Mayor of Ajax
- Rocco Rossi, CEO, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario

- 11:00 - continue riding
- 11:25 to 12:00 pm - riders enter the Beaches (31 km ridden)
- 11:50 to 1:15 pm - riders pass the "Tail Gate" snack truck at Sylvan
Park (42 km ridden)

- 12:20 to 2:45 pm - riders arrive at Petticoat Creek Conservation Area
to the beat of a drummer, having completed 56 km of the Waterfront
Trail
