- Canadians vote Shania Twain and Alexandre Despaties as the winners of
the Schick Quattro for Women Best Canadian Legs poll -
TORONTO, June 24 /CNW/ - Proving that she's 'still the one', Shania Twain
is voted first place in the Schick Quattro for Women Best Canadian Legs poll.
Shania walks away with the top honour after being voted the best in the nation
by 34 per cent of Canadians.The top honours went to:
- Shania Twain (34% of the national vote, 38% in Atlantic Canada and
Quebec, 19% in Alberta)
- Celine Dion (9% of the national vote, 14% in Quebec)
- Nelly Furtado (8% of the national vote, 12% in BC)
- Elisha Cuthbert (8% of the national vote, 15% in Alberta)Man! I Feel Like A Woman
As for the best male legs, Olympic diver, Alexandre Despatie, at 19 per
cent of the national vote, was steps ahead of the others with his
shaved-for-the-sport legs. (48 per cent of respondents in Quebec gave
Alexandre a top score.) Runner up, Keanu Reeves at 14 per cent wasn't far
behind. After Keanu, Canadians chose sports hero Steve Nash (13 per cent) as
their main leg man.
Canadian Leg Men
The Schick Quattro for Women Best Canadian Legs poll revealed that the
most "leg men" live in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Men in Manitoba and
Saskatchewan were the most likely to identify themselves as "leg men" (46 per
cent). Over one-third of Ontario men consider themselves "leg men" while only
13 per cent of men in Alberta would say the same.

Angus Reid Strategies in June 2008. It was a sample of 1,003 Canadian adults
with a maximum margin of error of +/-3.1 19 times out of 20.
