Shaw offers free Movie Central preview weekend


    Shaw Customers will have Access to a Weekend of Free Pay TV Programming,
    Friday, November 9 to Sunday, November 11

    TORONTO, Nov. 6 /CNW/ - Viewers in western Canada will now have the
opportunity to sample Movie Central's premium programming for free with
confirmation today that Shaw Communications customers will have access to
Movie Central's upcoming free preview weekend. From 6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT on
Friday, November 9 to Sunday, November 11 at midnight, customers of Shaw who
don't currently subscribe to Movie Central will have the chance to sample for
free the best in pay TV programming - uncut and commercial free - all weekend
long.

    During the free preview, viewers can tap into first-run, blockbuster
Hollywood hits and the newest HBO and Showtime series, from episodes of
Dexter, Flight of the Conchords, Entourage and Californication, to feature
presentations including The Last King of Scotland, My Super Ex-Girlfriend,
School for Scoundrels and Hollywoodland. The weekend schedule also includes
the premiere of the pay TV special Justin Timberlake: Futuresex/Loveshow on
Sunday, November 11 at 4:45 p.m. MT/ 3:45 p.m. PT.

    Shaw joins Bell ExpressVu (channel 319), MTS (channel 30), SaskTel
(channel 207), TELUS (channel 14), Access Communications (channel 102) and
Westman Communications (channel 85) for the free preview weekend on
November 9-11.
