Live Nation Joins TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games
Live Nation to co-produce musical acts for Pan Am and Parapan Am Closing Ceremonies and handle ticket services through its Ticketmaster division
TORONTO, Aug. 13, 2014 /CNW/ - Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: LYV), the world's leading live entertainment and e-commerce company, has signed on as the Official Live Music Partner for the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games.
Live Nation will leverage its relationships with top Canadian and international musical acts to support the Closing Ceremony for the Pan Am Games on Saturday, July 26, 2015, and the Closing Ceremony for the Parapan Am Games on Saturday, August 15, 2015.
Live Nation will also support PANAMANIA, presented by CIBC, festival sites located at CIBC Pan Am Park and Nathan Phillips Square during the Games.
Ticketmaster, a division of Live Nation Entertainment, will be the Official Ticket Services Provider for the Games, handling sales and services for all client groups, including the 1.4 million tickets available to the public starting September 15 at TORONTO2015.org.

Ticketmaster has previously served as the Official Ticketing Services Provider for the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, including the sale of more than 10.9 million tickets.
