Confused by your tax return?
H&R BLOCK TAX TRAINING SCHOOL CAN HELP MAKE IT A LITTLE EASIER
TORONTO, Aug. 11, 2014 /CNW/ - H&R Block Canada, a leader in tax preparation, will be opening its Tax Training School (TTS) program across the country to teach thousands of taxpayers about their tax returns. The 11-week program covers all the basics from how the tax system works to credits and deductions to how to prepare a simple tax return.
"Our introductory course attracts people from all areas of life - from retirees to stay-at-home moms to students," says Caroline Battista, senior tax analyst, H&R Block Canada. "We are the only company that opens its first-year class to anyone who has an interest in learning more about their tax return no matter how they prepare it. It is a great way to stay current with the latest tax laws and changes."
The Tax Training School program consists of 39 hours of tax theory training followed by 30 hours of hands-on software training. Upon successful completion, graduates can decide to apply for a position as a tax professional with the company.
In the past 20 years, H&R Block has trained more than one million North Americans of all descriptions. Registration is now open for classes beginning in the fall, and will remain open through the first week of the course. More information is available at your local H&R Block office or through the online class finder.
