Preserving a Time-honoured Tradition: Bernardin Ltd. Announces International Can-It-Forward Day for August 16th, 2014
TORONTO, Aug. 11, 2014 /CNW/ - Canada's mason jar company, Bernardin Ltd., announces its first International Can-It-Forward Day in celebration of the time-honoured tradition of preserving for Saturday, August 16th. With a variety of special activities taking place in Australia, South Africa, and the US, Bernardin will celebrate in Canada with a canning master class hosted by Bernardin Executive Chef, Emerie Brine, at the National Agriculture Museum in Ottawa. Using fresh ingredients, the delicious two-hour demonstration (2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST) of seasonal recipes, tips and techniques will be available for live viewing via webcast at: http://bernardin.yourbrandlive.com/c/canitforward2014ca
