Disruption of VIA Rail services between Thompson and Churchill on Friday, August 8th
WINNIPEG, Aug. 8, 2014 /CNW/ - VIA Rail Canada (viarail.ca) wishes to inform its passengers that, for operational reasons, train #693 scheduled to travel between Thompson and Churchill from Friday, August 8th and Saturday, August 9th will not operate. VIA Rail is currently trying to confirm the availability of alternate transportation to be offered to passengers travelling from Thompson to Churchill.
VIA Rail is communicating with customers who have reservations on the affected trains. We regret the inconvenience that this situation may cause. Customers wishing to cancel or change their date of travel may do so at no additional charge by calling 1 888 VIA-RAIL (1 888 842-7245) or 1 800 268-9503 (hearing impaired).
