Interim Place hosts its 3rd Annual Steps to End Violence Against Women Walk in honour of Anita Summan who lost her life to violence this past year and the 22 women that have been murdered over the last 7 years in Peel

MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Sunday July 27th, 2014 in Mississauga, Interim Place hosts their 3rd  Annual "Steps to End Violence Against Women Walk", to  honour the many women they have served over the past 33 years and remember Anita Summan who lost her life to violence in Peel this past year and the 22 women who were murdered in Peel over the last 7 years through a rose vigil.  The 3km walk will raise awareness about the issue of Violence Against Women and funds to continue to provide emergency shelter and support services to women and children fleeing violence.
