Direct Energy Kicks Off Partnership with Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Local services company signs deal as an Official Partner of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats
TORONTO, June 11, 2014 /CNW/ - Direct Energy is proud to announce a new partnership with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. As an Official Partner, Direct Energy will sponsor one of four primary entrance gates at Tim Hortons Field. The sponsorship also includes a dedicated fan engagement zone and a customized VIP fan trip to an out-of-town game. Direct Energy is one of the largest home services and energy companies in Canada. Serving more than two million customers, Direct Energy offers homeowners rentals, sales, service, and maintenance for items such as water heaters, furnaces, and air conditioners, along with duct cleaning and plumbing protection plans.

Direct Energy's involvement with the Tiger-Cats will include more than game day sponsorship opportunities. Over the next three years, Direct Energy will undertake community activities and amateur football sponsorships, game day promotions and giveaways, exclusive offers, and alumni and VIP events.
Direct Energy will hold a special Direct Energy Game Day at Tim Hortons Field on October 17, 2014 when the Tiger-Cats host the Ottawa REDBLACKS.
