Media invitation - Launch : Nature's Slowpokes - An experience in sloth time!
MONTREAL, June 11, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The sloths are now all settled into their brand-new habitat at the Biodôme and are ready for your visit! They'd like to invite you to slow down and enjoy the Biodôme's latest experiment, created by guest artist Marie-Claire Lagacé. The event, "Hurry Up and Slow Down," is a highlight of Space for Life's 2014 program of events.
On the program: a slow-paced guided tour
- A new temporary habitat for nature's slowpokes, where you can go nose to nose with the sloths and other slow-moving species in a relaxed, inviting setting.
- Symphony of Life: a musical creation based on the story of a sloth, brought to life through music, mime and movement.
- An installation encouraging you to linger, made of long strings and floating notes with entertaining facts and anecdotes explaining what slowness means for various species, including those at the Biodôme.
