Media Advisory - Photo and Interview Opportunities - Canadian students and cadets in Normandy for 70th Anniversary of D-Day

NORMANDY, France, June 5, 2014 /CNW/ - Over 1,000 students, educators, cadets, commanding officers and veterans from across Canada will participate in the official Government of Canada 70th Anniversary of D-Day Ceremony at Juno Beach in Normandy, France on June 6, 2014.

The groups, travelling with EF Educational Tours, have spent a week in Europe experiencing firsthand the cities, battlefields and landmarks that tell the story of the Second World War. Before participating in the official D-Day ceremony, all groups will take part in a special EF luncheon where they will have the opportunity to interact with Canadian veterans to hear about their experiences.
