OPUS Versante to open in Richmond, B.C

VANCOUVER, May 28, 2014 /CNW/ - OPUS Hotel Corporation (OPUS) has entered into agreement with developer MoYeung International Enterprise Ltd. (MoYeung) to bring OPUS Hotel Versante to the city of Richmond B.C in the Fall, 2017. OPUS Hotel Versante will be located in MoYeung's International Trade Centre development - the epicenter of international business in B.C, and soon, Canada.

Scheduled to open in the Fall of 2017 the 110-room, 12-storey OPUS Hotel Versante tower will stand alongside two additional office towers and 34,000 square feet of luxury retail space. The International Trade Centre is located four (4) minutes from the Canada Line Bridgeport Road Station, five (5) minutes from the Vancouver International Airport and the proposed McArthur Glen designer outlet shopping centre, and 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

"John deC. Evans, Founder and President of OPUS Hotel Corporation notes, "The OPUS Hotel brand presents a vibrant and eclectic mix of people and place making the International Trade Centre development the ideal location for the next property. We are thrilled to be working with Michael Ching of MoYeung - the leader in merging innovative lifestyle brands with the bricks and mortar of development."

Building on OPUS Hotel Vancouver's award-winning, international reputation for excellence, OPUS Hotel Versante will be the first luxury boutique hotel in Richmond with the largest guest rooms, each boasting the OPUS Hotel's hallmark "spa bathroom" design. On the 10th floor, an open-air lounge featuring a cutout roof design unique to Greater Vancouver will introduce the OPUS BAR concept to Richmond. In addition, a signature, traditional Chinese fine-dining restaurant will take pride of place at street level, acknowledging the significant Asian presence in the multi-ethnic Richmond market and across Greater Vancouver.

Trilogy Hotel Management Ltd., Mr. Evans' Hotel Management company will operate and manage the new OPUS Hotel Versante property.
