Flag Raising begins at 12:30pm sharp (rain or shine).  Event is 30 mins.


Although this annual Day is typically recognized on May 17th, the 2014 annual flag-raising at Toronto City Hall and reading of the proclamation by Deputy Mayor Norm Kelly will be held on Friday, May 16th, 2014. An ASL/Sign Language Interpreter will be on-site and visible.

Toronto PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends through SUPPORT, to cope with an adverse society, and EDUCATION, to enlighten an ill-informed public in order to end discrimination and secure equal rights.
