Media Advisory - Toronto FC and Sport Chek to host shape up open practice at BMO field

WHAT:
          


The Toronto FC first team and coaching staff will open the doors to BMO Field and promote healthy living to hundreds of teachers and thousands of students at the Shape Up Open Practice presented by Sport Chek.  During this free event, pre-registered teachers and students will use BMO Field as a large, outdoor classroom to learn about the importance of healthy living and physical activity and watch a Toronto FC full-team practice.  Students will also receive tips from representatives from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC and Toronto Marlies.

 

Throughout the day, students will also be able to participate in interactive zones and activations focused on the importance of healthy living supplied by Sport Chek, Ophea and the Toronto Zoo.  Students will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors mobile fan zones.

 

Tickets to this event were also available for purchase to fans at six Greater Toronto Area Sport Chek locations for a donation benefitting Jumpstart and the MLSE Foundation.
